Welcome Wynter!

Well winter is officially here and yep, we got our first snow of the season, with more expected tonight and throughout the weekend. So, New Year's 2010 will be a white one for us. I hope that all of you had a very blessed Christmas with your families and friends. The Reilly's certainly were blessed this year. Christmas Eve service at church was so beautiful and uplifting. My parents came here to our home this year, along with my sister and her dog Trixie. They got to our home on Christmas Eve and left on Christmas Day because my sister works in retail and needed to be back to work on the 26th.

Did anyone do any shopping on the 26th? I did, but was pretty disappointed in not being able to find the 100 count strands of clear white lights. I usually buy before and after Christmas and this year it seemed like that every store that I went to did not have any. Normally I would be stocked up, but not this year. Oh well, hopefully what I have will get me through another year, because you know me, I LOVE LIGHTS! :) What did I buy? Well I found wrapping paper, gift boxes and my cards for next year. Yes, I should be thankful that I found that much huh! lol So, what kinds of finds did you girls come across?

I have been taking pictures of my Christmas decorations, but feel like it is a little late to be putting them on here now. They will probably be coming down sooner than later because of going back to school next week. I would like for all of that to be done before then.

Today I will leave you with some pictures of what I took outside yesterday while the sun was out. We have had some snow here, actually it just came on Sunday and Monday. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day it was in the 40's and raining. So, here is what it looks like now around our home. Enjoy the pictures. The wind was so strong that it blew the snow around so much that my best guess is that we got somewhere around 5 inches. But not 100% sure. :) All right let's get to the pictures.

The first picture that you will see here was taken at night as it was snowing. I think it turned out pretty neat if I do say so myself.

Here is a picture of my beautiful sister and her sweet Trixie. She adopted this dog at the shelter a few weeks before Christmas. Isn't she cute!

Here is a picture of our 4 legged baby girl Gizmo and Trixie on Christmas morning. Boy was Santa ever good to them!

These pictures here were taken at my parent's home the weekend before Christmas. Okay, I'll admit it, I have puppy fever and would take Trixie as my own. My sister on the other doesn't think that is a good idea. Darn it!

Here are some outside pictures that I took yesterday, and as you will see Gizmo simply loves the snow!!!

I hope you all enjoyed the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them and putting them on here for you to see because I know how we all love pictures! :) Have a blessed day and until next time, I will be snapping more pictures to share with you.

Blessings and Perfect Prims,

Stacey

Hi Stacey,
love that first picture! Wanna share some snow ? We got snow 2 days after Christmas but it was just a dusting. Supposed to snow tonight and some tomorrow but they were saying no accumulation. How sweet of your sister to give Trixie a home !Looks like Gizmo and Trixie are long lost pals....Tooo cute! I also want to thank you for your kind words and prayers for my son and family. I know through prayer and Gods healing hands that Jess is gonna be ok. I won't let my faith in his word be waivered !
Wishing you and yours a blessed and joyous New Year.

Love the doggy photos. I haven't done much post-Christmas shopping. Don't need much, do want to pick up some tags. Have lots of cards left. I did get a new camera and look forward to going through all the features.
Wishing you and Scott a blessed year and all the desires of your heart!

The puppies are adorable.
I didn't brave the day after shopping this year.
We love the snow and are keeping our fingers crossed that we WILL get snow for New Year's. Not sure though if it's gonna be rain or snow.
Thaks for sharing your photos. Yes we all love pictures!
Hope you and your husband have a great New Year!

Hi Stacey~ Thanks so much for stopping by my blog for a visit. I truly enjoyed my visit here and will be adding you to my blog list so I can visit back more often.

How precious are those pictures of Trixie and Gizmo! I love the picture of Gizmo with snow on his nose and holding his big rawhide bone (must have been a Christmas gift). :)
We too are hoping to adopt a 3 year old St. Bernard. My kids and I have been anxiously waiting for the phone to ring. Hopefully soon.

No after Christmas shopping for me. I'm not a big crowd person, but it sounds like you got some good deals for next year. That's a great way to save some money.

I like the picture you took of the fence in the snow. It could be used as a card front!
Have a safe and Happy New Year!
Blessings~ Birgit

Happy New Year!

What a sweet doggy! We were "blessed" with a puppy on Christmas Eve and she really is a blessing. We are so attached to her already, even though we had no intentions of ever getting another dog. God knows best, doesn't He?

May your New Year be filled with blessings & joy!

Cool story as for me. I'd like to read more about this topic. The only thing it would also be great to see on this blog is a few pictures of any devices.
